Wal-Mart Gives RFID Plan Green Light

Wal-Mart president and chief executive officer Mike Duke said in May that the radio frequency identification (RFID) program will be instituted into grocery and Sam’s Club products in the Dallas area by the end of the year. So far, Wal-Mart implemented RFID technology into a pharmacy distribution warehouse in November and a retail distribution center and seven stores in the Dallas area.
